高炭素シリコン輸出
High Carbon Silicon Contains Between 50 percent And 70 percent Silicon.
High Carbon Silicon Contains Between 10 percent And 25 percent Carbon.
説明
HC silicon is produced from a blend of silica, carbon, and iron. It is characterized by its high carbon content, typically ranging from 3 percent to 4.5 percent . This high carbon level makes it an excellent deoxidizer and desulfurizer, which is why it is extensively used in the production of steel. In addition to this, HC silicon is also a good conductor of electricity and useful in the production of silicon-based electronic components.

China is the world's largest producer of high carbon silicon, accounting for over 70 percent of global production. The majority of the production is centered in Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, and Shaanxi provinces, which are home to many large-scale metallurgy companies. One of the biggest producers of HC silicon is the Lanzhou Aluminium Corporation, which produces around 200,000 tons of the alloy annually.
China's dominance in the high carbon silicon market is also reflected in its export levels. In 2020, China exported 306,482 tons of high-carbon silicon, which accounted for over 90 percent of the world's total exports of the alloy. This represents a significant increase from previous years as the demand for HC silicon continues to grow, especially in emerging economies such as India and Southeast Asia.
